Liverpool have confirmed that new signing, Dejan Lovren, will wear the number 6 jersey for season 2014/2015. 

As reported by the official website of Liverpool, the Croatia international, who became the fifth player Brendan Rodgers brought in this summer, will follow in the footsteps of Anfield legends such as Alan Hansen and Emlyn Hughes, who also wore the jersey with the number 6.
